CEO "Canine Entertainment Operative" Background: OTB Designs & Engineering, LLC is operated by Ken House and Doug Collins. Together Ken and Doug are highly experienced in the field of mechanical design and engineering with reputations for quality designs and exceptional customer service. OTB offers customers economical and inventive designs due to a practical and broad based knowledge of design, SolidWorks modeling, machining, fabrication, and manufacturing processes. Experience: Ken House, co-owner of OTB Designs & Engineering, LLC has a degree in electronics from Devry Institute of Technology and 24 years experience creating and designing innovative mechanisms, consumer products and manufacturing fixtures. This experience has been gained from key design and manufacturing positions that Ken has held at Hewlett Packard, Ultimate Support Systems, and APG Test Consultants. He has filled such roles as Electronics Technician, Machine Maintenance Technician, Fast Track Tool Designer, Bottom up Machine Development, Ergonomics Assistant, Design Engineer, Machinist, Machine shop Manager, Functional Test Fixture Design Engineer, and Project Manager. While filling the above roles, Ken has been an intricate part of many project teams, and as a result, he is named on 7 US patents, including one for a Hands Free Medical Dynamic Mobility Device. Doug Collins, co-owner of OTB Designs & Engineering, LLC has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and 9 years experience designing mechanisms while managing projects and project teams. During his career, Doug has performed in a number of capacities, such as Project Manager, Research Assistant, Operations Engineer, Project Engineer, Plant Manager, Design Engineer, Product Development Engineer, Functional Test Fixture Design Engineer, and Engineering Manager in a variety of industries. The skills and positions listed above were achieved and sharpened while employed at Mobil Oil, Koch Industries, and APG Test Consultants.
